One of my fave illustrations from Finance for the People. Comment 💸 for TWO FREE chapters of Finance for the People. I’m weird, you’re weird, we’re all weird about money! We’re weird because of social and societal issues, we’re weird because of personal experiences and familial influences. Knowing we’re weird is the first step. Once we understand how we feel about money we can start to observe and change our behaviors with it. We can find out agency. #FINANCEFORTHEPEOPLE #financefriend #personalfinance

Comment 💸 for TWO FREE chapters of Finance for the People. Today is pub day (and lunar new year!) Today, books are getting into the hands of the people who need it and it’s such a wild feeling knowing that they’re going to go on a journey. Today I get to celebrate one of my biggest accomplishments, but there are so many people behind the scenes that I couldn’t have done this without, like the team of absolute pros over at @penguinbooks and my @hellyeah.bookkeeping team. I wanted to give a special thanks to my agent @jstephensss over at @sterlinglordlit . Thanks for being my guide into the publishing universe and for taking a chance on me. And of course, thank you to my editor @missemilywunder . Thank you for buying my book, helping me shape it and being such a kind, generous spirit throughout the entire process. Here’s to hoping a fuck ton of people love this book as much as we do. #financeforthepeople #personalfinance

wrote a piece for @square about how small businesses can navigate the vibecession... which now feels like it’s gone from vibe to real... TL;DR: the classic moves work in good times and in bad. to read the whole thing, comment “vibe” or “🫠” and I’ll DM you the link #SquarePartner #ad

s/o to all the creative agencies dealing with the two most common struggles we see: 1. big clients that dictate payment terms that cause cash flow timing issues 2. big clients that create a high customer concentration risk how to solve: 1. get a line of credit in case you need it & make friends with your clients AP person 2. sorry to say: biz dev, marketing, etc. get more clients to spread out risk.

hi... just wanted to remind all of you self-employed folks to reach out to your accountant’s for a year-end tax planning meeting. why? ✅ to get ahead of your 2024 tax bill. ✅ and get on the same page as your accountant on the best tax strategy to help you reach your goals. for example, last year, paying less taxes might have been your goal but maybe this year it’s to getting approved for a mortgage. anyway... get your financials in order, get that tax planning meeting, get that peace of mind as we head into the final days of 2024. and if you need help with the bookkeeping part, DM me. i gotchu. k, love you, bye. -paco

[Comment 💸 and I’ll send you 2 free chapters of FINANCE FOR THE PEOPLE.] I was having a conversation with a friend last week. They said one of their biggest regrets was not investing sooner because they didn’t know any better and were afraid of losing their money (valid concern, but there are ways to manage risk). So, here is your periodic reminder to invest your money. And an actual excerpt from Finance for the People: “You are tripping your balls off if you don’t take advantage of this insane, man-made phenomenon of using money to create more money.” I don’t make these rules, but I’m happy to share what I know about them. 1. A comic strip from FINANCE FOR THE PEOPLE to simply illustrates the mind-blowing power of compounding interest. ☃️ 2. @brokemillennialblog gushing about FINANCE FOR THE PEOPLE. #FINANCEFORTHEPEOPLE #financefriend
