It’s been 6 months since my nonbinary gender-affirming surgery. I’ve taken my time to truly heal—while also working full time and going to school full time. I just wrapped my first semester, and I’m on track to graduate in January with associate degrees in Psychology and Social Work. I’ve been fortunate to receive four scholarships along the way, and I’m feeling deeply grateful for every bit of support. 🎉
As Pride Month comes to a close, I wanted to share an update.
Since surgery, I’ve only performed a handful of times. I love the stage, but I’ve also needed space to reconnect with myself—to feel grounded, present, and embodied in a way I hadn’t before.
To everyone who’s supported me—in drag, in healing, in life: thank you. 🫶
Some have wondered if I’m stepping away from drag. The short answer? No.
The fuller truth is: I’m moving more intentionally now. My schedule is packed, but beyond that, I’m listening to the deeper call of my artistry. I’ve loved the joy and spectacle I’ve brought to the stage—but I know I have more to say than just a fierce lip sync or a perfect impersonation.
Drag has always been about transformation, and I’m stepping into that fully—shifting the focus from performance to purpose. I’m here to challenge the boxes that patriarchy and white supremacy try to fit us into—and offer something more liberatory in its place.
I’ve held onto years of ideas and visions I’ve never shared. But now, with the state of the world and our community, it’s time. Time to pull back the curtain and adorn you with the cosmic magic I’ve been holding. 🪄
That begins by sharing my full performance name—yes, the last name too.
A name that speaks of sacred fire, of spiritual rhythm, of rebirth. You’ll know it when you see it. ✨

I had all but given up on going to this because I missed the initial sale and tickets were crazy prices…
Lately I have not had the best luck and there has been a lot of tribulations tbh; however, this day was definitely an exception… at 6pm on the day of the show @jakegonzalesx , her dancer and my friend/“daughter”, called me and said he had 2 tickets for me if I could get there asap. I had a show after so I think I got into drag faster than ever. We raced to Dodger Stadium and got the tickets at will call. They were nosebleed seats and of course I didn’t care, they were a gift, but, as soon as I got inside someone came up to me and handed me floor tickets just because of my look 😭 We walked in as the show was starting and I teared up as I got to our seats. After everything that has been going wrong lately, it kinda felt like the universe rewarding me for sticking it out. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to give up. In that moment, seeing my friend living his dream and being in the midst of my own journey - it felt very surreal. This was my 3rd time seeing Gaga and the love I felt standing in the middle of 52k people was unmatched.
So thank you so much Jake, I am so proud of you and you inspire me. Thank you @ladygaga for everything. A life-changing moment to say the least. ✨
