Will Focus

The super chill laid back vibes on this were exact what was needed. The last shot is often what can separate models from one another. The ability to emote will give such drastically different results and I respect @estymusonda for being able to execute at such a high level so quickly. It took about .5 seconds for the emotion swap from our previous pose and it was effortless. Love how the jewelry from @adornedintaji set things off. The first image gives crime boss and I love it. Shout out to our PA @rebellion_jones for the helping hand this day. Invaluable work. I love developing @thephototakeover and its evolution with all things, including The Main Event. I was extremely happy to have woodworker @byreynoir create the custom pieces he did in the second image. The talent doesn't stop and I love being surrounded by other creatives. Creativity breeds more creativity Such a fun and exploratory time. Thanks @wtfdumbostudio as well for such a beautiful space. Photographers, Models, Designers should all consider your location if they want an all-inclusive, clean, and varied solution.

I love Black and White. I do. Almost to an unnatural degree. The window light was great in the studio (@wtfdumbostudio ), so much so I intentionally let light bleed into the lens to get a little bloom on my images while simultaneously having a key light in opposition. Setting the time aside at @thephototakeover / The Main Event 2025 was intentional. I have to say I respect @adornedintaji not only for the jewelry but for asking me to shoot my standard wides with @estymusonda - it was more confirmation to do it. Sometimes, depending on the location I'm shooting in, I will choose not to bring anything too wide and that's due to distracting elements that can enter the frame. I have to be very intentional but I was beyond pleased with the results. Love connecting with models, photographers and designers who know and love what they're doing

So you know I have a few of these coming but... I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with the very talented @estymusonda at The Main Event 2025 presented by none other than @thephototakeover We had a bit of time before everything kicked off and it was an amazing session. From the fit, to jewelry (@adornedintaji 😉), the assists by our PA @rebellion_jones , and the custom hand made woodwork in the background of some shots by @byreynoir , everything fell perfectly into place. It's a rarity nowadays for me to be able to actually sit in my own creativity and shoot with someone where I'm not feeling in a rush because I'm usually organizing so I was very intentional about setting some time aside for me. I am in love with the results and just how smoothly Esther flowed through poses and emotions. If you know me I'm big on people mastering facial expressions and emoting and she absolutely nailed this in our shots. I couldn't be happier. @spencers_space has a really comfortable pocket. Sleeper talent because mad cool and down to earth when cameras are off and then turned on when cams were on. Make sure to give Spencer a follow. Spencer did an amazing job and you can see it come through the imagery. I showed the color and black and whites in each post because I love how they showed a contrast in style of image but also in wardrobe while keeping a similar confident energy. @thephototakeover was fun as per usual and I couldn't be happier with the choices made and those we connect with. Photography will always hold a place in my heart.

I am being very intentional about shooting more landscape imagery. Until socials, that was the only way people thought to capture things. I feel like a lot of us have lost sight of just how important scale is whether big or small.
