This one is long time pending. A few of us collaborated to shoot this some time back.

I’m totally torn on zoos.
My immediate reaction is that wild animals don’t belong in cages—it feels fundamentally wrong to confine them.
But then I face the practical reality: when zoos are run ethically and humanely, they’re a huge force for good. They provide refuge for animals that can’t survive in the wild, and they are critical centers for conservation programs.
More importantly, they’re the number one way to get people, especially kids, interested in wildlife and its protection. A zoo visit is a vital spark for future conservationists.
So, I’m left with the big question: Does the essential good they do for conservation and education outweigh the ethical compromise of confinement?
Our viper sightings from the recent times…
1. Saw-Scaled Viper (Goa): Named for the unique rasping sound it makes with its scales.
2. Gaboon Viper (Tanzania): Possessing the longest fangs of any snake in the world.
3. Malabar Pit Viper (Agumbe): A polymorphic species, found in various colors to perfectly match its habitat.
