⸻ I have a theory. The more scraped your car rims are, the more likely we are to be friends. Because it means you’re out here living. Trying. Parking in tight spots. Doing your best. Mine are definitely scraped. Welcome home. 🤍 Tell me in the comments… how are your rims looking?

There’s one shift that completely changed how I approach the holidays—and no, it’s not more planning, more cooking, or more perfection. It’s actually the opposite. This episode was inspired by a beautiful comment from Karmen (with a K 💛) asking what a minimalist holiday reallylooks like for an overachiever. And my answer? It starts with a single question: “What do I want to feel?” This video is for anyone who’s tired of burning out before dinner is even served. 💡 Inside I share:
• My actual plan for delegating holiday dishes (yes, there’s a spreadsheet)
• Why white space is the ultimate luxury
• How to host without losing yourself Watch now, and let’s make this the year of less doing, more being. 🎥 Full episode: [link in bio]

“I’ve become the person I needed growing up.” That’s why I’m here. To help you feel seen. To remind you that you’re not alone. To build a community where our homes become healing spaces—and our everyday moments feel meaningful. If you’ve ever wished for someone to guide you, to share the real stuff, to hold your hand through the process… I hope you find that here. 💫 Because we’re not just making our homes beautiful—we’re making them feel like home. Tag someone who needs this. #IveBecomeThePersonINeeded #CanyonHome #HealingAtHome #MakeEverydaySpecial #ModernHomemaker #NoStaffRequired #TheodoreLeaf #LifeWithIntention #FeelSeen #HomeWithHeart #HomeAndStyle #EmotionalLabor #CommunityCare

Sunlight, fresh linens, and a quiet moment to yourself — proof that creating a beautiful home doesn’t take a team of people. Just you, a little intention, an iron ( @laurastarusa )and a basket of laundry. ✨ Because around here, the everyday moments are the special occasions… No staff required. 🧺☀️

This season, we’re reclaiming what holiday magic really means. It’s not about the perfect tree or the Pinterest-level table — it’s about presence. It’s the warmth of candlelight after a long week. The joy of giving. The quiet power of tradition, chosen on your terms. And the comfort of knowing that cozy, messy, meaningful moments count. Because when we gather with intention — around a table, under twinkle lights, or with a sleepy pup by the fire — we’re doing more than decorating… We’re rooting ourselves in joy. Who else is ready to start decorating?

Once upon a time, I was stumbling out of the club at 7:50AM… now I’m in the car wash with two dogs and 10,000 steps already logged. Back then it was bass drops and bottle service. Now it’s bubble jets and barking in surround sound. Growth? Absolutely. Regrets? Only that I didn’t bring snacks (jk of course I brought snacks!). Welcome to the new morning rave: no cover charge, just vanilla almond tea, 2 Berniedoodle puppies, and a little existential joy on the rinse cycle. #CarWashClub #RetiredRager #HotGirlWalksAndHighPressureRinse #MorningRoutineGlowUp #ThisIsForty#DogMomChronicles #MakeEverydayASpecialOccasion

That’s because I am. ✨ It didn’t happen overnight, but something shifted—and I’m finally feeling more me than I have in years. I’ve been working on building a life that feels like home from the inside out, and I can’t wait to start sharing exactly how I got here. From little rituals that saved my mornings to the mindset shift that changed everything, it’s all coming soon. Let’s build our happiest lives—together. 💫 #YouLookHappier #ModernHomemaker #LifeLately #PersonalGrowth #LiveWell #TheodoreLeaf #HomeStyleLife

This is the hardest news we have ever had to share, it has taken us months to find the strength. At the end of March we had to say goodbye to our dear Baxter, we miss him so much and we have written the following words to honor his memory. Baxter, our prince! You were and will always be an icon, a legend. The sweetest, the softest, the kindest, the most joyful, the most loving, creature that we’ve ever met. You were and will always be one of the best gifts we’ve been given. (If you met him, you know what we’re saying.) When we brought you home, you were timid, a little scared, but full of kind curiosity. We had you to ourselves for the first year and then we brought Brighton home. You were always so kind and gentle to Brighton. His early life wasn’t so pleasant, so his edges needed smoothing by way of love, which you showed him – and us – and really everyone else so endlessly. Even with your babies (toys), you were so gentle, loving, and kind. You took care of them, nurtured them, played with them, and kept them safe. You traveled on planes, trains, and automobiles all over this country with ease and grace. You moved from the cottage in LA to the apartment in NYC and back again. Then to Santa Barbara and most recently to Palm Springs. You kept us warm and calm everywhere. Your favorite place was the beach with a ball. Not always knowing where it was, but on a mission to find it wherever it landed. We will be forever grateful for the 14 years we got to spend with you and will truly cherish the memories, the love, the snuggles, the sweetness you gave to us. We struggle to find the words to honor what you mean to us and the impact that you made on our lives and those around us. We love you so very much. We always will and you’ll forever be with us. We know you’re now on a beach in heaven, playing ball and smiling. Our sweet, sweet, baby boy. We love you! Rest in peace our dearest Baxter. - Your Daddies
