i announce this project with hope, fear and most prominently, pride. this has been my life for the longest and i truly believe these songs are the best i’ve created yet. bigger lead time cos i want to make sure i give it the roll out it deserves, in the hope that i have as many eyes and ears on it come release day and beyond. if you’ve ever invested into TNC at any level and fuck with what i do, now is a time more than ever, to get behind something i’m sharing with the world. i won’t let you down.

i fucking think it’s a hit to be honest. i hope you like it and i hope that if you like it enough you’ll maybe share it with someone you know. i really want to give this the push it deserves
it was written in a bit of a mad time. situationships are so dumb btw. it sounds like a love song but really it’s drawn from experience with untrue connections that don’t fuel your soul with what it needs
scratching bites; they itch so badly and you know you shouldn’t scratch them, but sometimes you do and when you do it feels amazing for a brief moment but then you quickly realise it was a fucking dumb idea and you’ve just made the situation worse long term
here’s to pursuing pure connections only whether that be romantically or platonically
the videos attached show a rough timeline of how the song came about and how long it’s been on the TNC rotation live now. it bangs with every audience (you always sing it so beautifully) and i can’t wait to have us all sing it together on the 29th
