Muppet Treasure Scriptland was absolute perfection 🏴☠️
I had the privilege of seeing another incredible @themuppetscript show, this time based on debatably my favorite Muppet movie! It was so unhinged and exactly what I needed 🖤
I also realized I rarely laugh harder than I do at @dynastytypewriter 🤭
Thank you @theloganelaine for a night full of snorting and laughter. @themuppetscript was perfection! The real cherry on top was seeing all my Muppet loving friends all in one place.

THIS TUESDAY you can livestream an All-Star reading of the Muppet Treasure Island script! I painted this poster, which will also be available as a print. Every ticket and/or print purchase raises funds for immigrant justice!

2026 Inductee Bio: Matt Wilkie If there’s a Charity Hall of Fame, Matt Wilkie should be in that too. Matt’s time in Muppet fandom starts in 2010 when begins writing for ToughPigs, primarily as their resident Los Angeles representative, often being sent to check out California-based events like San Diego Comic-Con and premieres for things like the 2018 reboot of Muppet Babies. When not reporting directly from the scene, Matt was usually reviewing new and old Muppet material or asking the hard hitting questions, like “is it Bert and Ernie or Ernie and Bert” and “what the heck is Manhattan Melodies anyway?” Matt’s writing for ToughPigs slowed down over the years but in 2025, he returned to the fandom with his biggest project yet: The Muppet Script, a star studded script reading of The Muppet Movie. This alone is impressive, but the kicker is that it was all to raise money for charity, specifically L.A.-area wildfire relief. This then came The Scripted Muppet Caper, The Muppets Take Scripthattan, and The Muppet Scriptmas Carol, once again all for charity. Not only did Matt give Muppet fans the gift of Nina West as Miss Piggy, but he did a heck of a lot of good, too, with all funds from the reads going to The TransLatin Coalition, GiveDirectly, One Simple Wish, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and The California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice.
