White shirt & blue jeans will NEVER NOT be a classic fit in any generation!!! EVER! We just were the ones to create it as an EVENT that has been copied and duplicated for MANY DECADES & MANY STATES since its conception. Strangely enough we never ourselves executed this concept in BROOKLYN till last year’s event! But long story short…WE BACK! One of the GREATEST dress themed events to come out of NYC is returning to BROOKLYN this year on Sunday of Memorial Weekend at @donriquenyc and @theblockassociation wanted to give you advanced notice that we expecting the LOOKS to be way more creative than last year! Start planning your looks EARLY cause our photo gallery at this function ALWAYS “goes viral!” It’s our very FIRST dress themed event out of the four planned for the summer alone so @themreport & @carlitohaciano wanna set the tone from the gate! BY NOW we’re assuming that you’ve ALREADY purchased your tickets or table for “SKY BLUE” the return of our SECOND white shirt blue jeans event in Brooklyn coming up in a few weeks! Memorial weekend to be exact, Sunday May 24th at @donriquenyc 4pm-11pm. So now that your tickets are out of way, let’s focus on THE FITS!!!! Ladies DO NOT come “mid” and you too fellas…with the “meh” looks! We’re capturing a lot of CONTENT for future memories so LOOK THE PART! This is a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! @stoopset is making its GRAND (pun intended) return for the fourth year on the FIRST SATURDAY of June! June 6th to be exact but we wanted to make you fully aware of what’s changed. We’re GROWING! We’re quickly becoming a staple event for Brooklyn summers and we’ve seen IRT our numbers grow. So we ask NYC can we add ANOTHER block to accommodate the turn out ( & turn up) and we got answered with a resounding “YES!” So now GRAND AVE will be the new cross street along with SAINT JAMES PLACE. Of course in true @stoopset fashion we do have OTHER SURPRISES planned for the day (10am-5pm) butt you’re going have to SHOW UP to find out what those are cause ppl can’t seem to keep a secret. This last one I’m gonna shift the blame to @jamesgunn for not adding this one on a Guardians of the Galaxy mixtape somehow. He’s KING of the #needledrop (besides Tarantino) I would have slid this funky tune by War in SOMEWHERE in one of the trilogy movies at some point! But alas I just thought it would fit in nicely as an intro record…YOU’RE WELCOME @marvelstudios

@marvelstudios IF you’re listening here’s a few #needledrop opportunities you missed I think that you still maybe able to redeem yourself on using these hits as intro for future films! This particular one is for #advengersendgame (which I heard is getting a rerelease) Do us fans some justice by getting @disney to pay for the music usage…they can afford it! #wearethechampions #queen

One, you’re either gonna FINALLY get to wear a lot of the clothes that you’ve never been able to wear in eons depending on the dress theme…OR your wardrobe is about to get a MAJOR upgrade from all the shopping for new outfits you’re about to do! It’s OBVIOUS to us that “Sky Blue” is about to make Memorial Weekend MEMORABLE!! 2 weeks to go and our outdoor cabanas are GONE GONE! In record time too! Our apologies to those that had their hearts set on booking one but hey….in the words on Cam’ron & Mase “It is what it is!” Good news is we have FOUR of the $650 booths left for those looking to do table service and sit the ass down somewhere in between dances! So let’s get a move on folks! Hit up @theblockassociation @themreport or @carlitohaciano DM to secure yours NOW…like RIGHT NOW…like as soon as you finish reading this post!
