I’m learning that sometimes the map isn’t wrong,
it’s just unfinished.
Right now, I’m without a job
and feeling a little lost.
When I was younger, I thought by now I’d have everything figured out by 30.
Turns out, growing up is realizing that “figuring it out” never really ends.
Vienna’s been on my mind.
It has been for a while.
I imagine a version of my life there
closer to people I love,
more exciting life,
a job that fulfills me,
and a feeling that maybe things will finally fall into place.
But lately I’ve also realized something else:
wherever I go,
my sadness,
my sense of displacement,
and my loneliness come with me.
Still…
I know Vienna waits for me. 🤍
AUGUST ended, and with it, my ease ✨
It was a month full of random happenings just the way I like it.
On the days it didn’t rain, we enjoyed the sunshine; on the others, we tolerated the gray.
A vacation month spent in my current home city felt like both a blur and a recharge for what’s to come. Already plotting towards the year’s end 🫠

One year ago, I was in Japan—a trip of a lifetime. ✨ It was exciting, it was scary, and it was heartbreaking too. But more than anything, it left a mark on my life that I still carry with me every day. Japan became my happy place, a memory I revisit when I need to remember that I can dream too.
I once told a friend that I don’t dream because dreams don’t happen. And she reminded me that this was something I used to believe, not something I should hold onto now. This trip proved exactly that: if you dream, if you go for it—it’s possible.
Forever grateful for everyone who inspired me to take this leap. I miss it, I love it, and I cannot wait to go back. ❤️🇯🇵
