Every day, someone leaves this world. Not only the old. Not only the sick. Not only the weak.

And perhaps that is why wisdom matters.
Because when you truly understand the fragility of life, you stop wasting it on pride, hatred, bitterness, ego, and meaningless battles.

I can’t believe I am writing this about you, my big brother.
We were texting that dawn. We had so many plans.
You were supposed to pull up with the new car and park under the Solara lights this Friday.
I told you countless times that this year was going to be a good one for us... and now you are no longer among the living.
It has been 48 hours since I held your lifeless body in my arms. I kissed your forehead. I cleaned your eyes. I prayed and hoped against hope that somehow this was a spiritual encounter and that you would come back to me… even until the moment I left the morgue.
For 14 years of my life, you have been an integral part of me.
This pain is heavy. Far heavier than words can carry. But even in this grief, I thank God that I had the privilege of doing life with you until your very last breath.
Till the day I leave this earth, I will carry you with me. My generation will know your name.
Thank you for living. Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for loving Jesus the way you did.
Thank you for teaching me God’s Word, praying for me, covering my weaknesses, encouraging me, believing in me, and supporting me through every season.
