‘BRAZEN’ interrogates the body as an unwitting instrument in the performance of life, joy, movement and pain; seeking to question definitions of exploitation in the pursuit of art and entertainment.
Manifesting as an interactive jewellery cuff, the wearable tracks data from the wearer and their movements, each datapoint being then encoded into musical gestures, for the compilation of an indefinite ambient track.
Data from the following track was recorded live during the OFF BEAT Runway, & is currently on display in the OFF BEAT Exhibition: showing from Feb 21 - March 21 @householdpresents 97a Hindley Street, Adelaide.
