Earlier in Q2, I had the absolute delight of being surprised with the most beautiful bridal shower to usher in #mikun2026. So grateful to my sisters for organising everything so thoughtfully.
Enjoy the carousel because every photo captures a beautiful moment and tells its own special story.

Adire Connection - The Afterparty Look
Adire isn’t just fabric, it’s storytelling you can wear.
Rooted in Abeokuta in Ogun State, the heartbeat of Adire, every pattern carries meaning. Traditionally hand-dyed in deep indigo, today it is reimagined in bold colours and textures, its essence remains timeless.
It was important to represent Ogun State in this way, the home to both parents of the groom and the bride’s father. This wasn’t just a fashion choice, it was a statement of roots, lineage, and unity.

The Owo Look - Àṣà wa l’ẹwa wa
Our tradition is filled with beauty and regality. Every thread chosen, every colour was selected with intention.
We paid an ode to the Yoruba tradition, particularly the Owo kingdom where mommy @solasobowale is from. The handwoven fabric, seghosen is a symbol of Owo identity, heritage, worn as pieces of art.

Let’s do this things again, but traditionally…
The theme for our traditional pre-wedding shoot was Yoruba Chic, like our grandparents did it in their day. Different era, same energy.

It’s Christmas 🎄 !!!!
It’s no news that exactly a year ago today my mother tragically passed away.
But Christmas will not be a day of sadness and mourning in our house. It’s a day where we celebrate the love, sacrifice and gift of Jesus in our lives.
We also use today to celebrate our mother so we decided to come together for a time of worship.
So in the spirit of joy and celebration, feel free to join us at 12pm (uk time) as we celebrate God with praise.
We’re grateful for our brother @emmaohmagod and the @lightchildfamily choir who led us in a time of beautiful worship.
God bless you. Merry Christmas
You can catch the worship on YouTube at 12pm
