Coming from the music industry my heart really does want to give back to my old family as much as I can. Reconnecting with old friends and hearing how the industry is ever changing. But now networking with a health and wellness approach. @mohiromoto and I got a few ex and current music pat’s together and offered an evening of breath, sound, and conversation. I truly hope this leads to collaborations, new friends, feeling like you’re not alone in the world of music.

Back on the road again. Nashville looks good you they say. Go where the work takes you. Really starting to love this town, the southern hospitality, the music, the coffee shops. Some of my favorite kinds and places and people.

I love going into to corporations and giving back this way. It’s not just about the session but the time I get to spend chatting about mental health. Discovering your own journey with meditation and nervous system resets. Build a better relationship with your own stress and how you can start. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with the Art of Elysium for over ten years. It was something I started doing when after I had recovered from an accident that changed my own trajectory. I truly wanted to give back in a different way. With the wonderful guides from AOE they walk us from room to room in the hospice care facility and we play to whomever will listen. It’s not for the faint of heart. It puts a lot of things in perspective. It humbles you. It also brings a feeling of service to those who may need it. You never know who needs it. When or where. Just show up. And let the universe do the rest.

After many many years this Cello x Sound bath piece has finally hit the streets. The project is A Crescent Rose and the composed piece is called the Movement. Where classical meets meditation, my fellow creative Margaret and I started working on this back in 2020. It’s been a long time coming and so happy to share this with everyone.
I have always been about educating and bringing sound to the forefront as medicine. Being able to use the same instruments and collab with the cello to bring a story of emotions that really had no words, only feelings. So we put that in this piece…

I did a thing at UCLA. I had a chance to speak w a group of freshman about the importance of regulating your nervous system. How meditation can help with lowering your stress and anxiety levels. Sound guided mediations are an excellent entry point into the world of meditating. Not one of them had experienced a sound bath before. It was a pleasure to bring this to them!
