Earlier this week, we celebrated breaking ground on 112 new townhomes for Company Grade Officers and their families at the US Army's Fort Benning, GA installation. The revitalized neighborhood, Norton Court, will feature three- and four-bedroom layouts and spacious 2,400+ square-foot homes with community amenities, including a central park, a gathering pavilion, and walking paths. Last week, alongside the Camden County Board of Commissioners and Mayor Michael Mignonana, Michaels celebrated bringing 81 new affordable apartment homes to Voorhees Township, NJ. The new community, Victory Commons, offers income-restricted apartments to households earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income, and features one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans, ample parking, and a community clubhouse. Michaels recently celebrated our 16th annual Achievers Summit, which recognizes high-performing teammates from across the organization for their commitment to their work, Michaels’ Core Values, and our mission of Lifting Lives. Our 2026 Achievers were chosen from 230+ nominations to participate in 2 days of networking, training sessions, and fun! Each year, the Bob Sampson Award is also presented at the Summit to an enthusiastic teammate eager to learn and participate in each event. Bob Sampson was a long-time Michaels Management teammate who, among his many achievements, started Michaels' first online learning center and founded the Achievers Summit. This year, the Bob Sampson Award was presented to Tregg Mull, Maintenance Superintendent at Coal Township Elderly in PA. Congratulations to Tregg and all of our Achievers! 👏

Michaels recently joined the Philadelphia Housing Authority to celebrate the expansion of affordable housing in Philadelphia’s Sharswood neighborhood. Harlan Sharswood Townhouses, a new 43-unit community, was developed simultaneously with the rehabilitation and modernization of the original 71-unit Sharswood Townhouses, which Michaels developed in 2000. Michaels' Executive Vice President of Development Jonathan Lubonski has been named a 2026 Leader in Real Estate Construction, and Design by NJBIZ. As Executive Vice President of Development, Jonathan is responsible for overseeing The Michaels Organization’s nationwide affordable housing development operations. Michaels is proud to serve as development consultant for Esterbrook Senior Residences, which broke ground last week. Joined by Rahway, NJ Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and development partners, the ceremony marked a major milestone in the City’s ongoing commitment to expanding affordable housing for senior residents. The development will feature 58 modern, ADA-compliant units built with accessibility, comfort, and safety in mind.
