[IN THE NEWS] Stacey Abrams has some advice for companies erasing DEI from their websites: 'It's not about the letters' by FORTUNE
As the Trump administration continues its efforts to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion programs (DEI) in the public and private sector, many large companies are responding by changing the language they use. But that backpedaling won’t save them from ongoing anti-DEI critics, says Stacey Abrams, and could have deeper repercussions for their programs.

[BLOG] Still Good Business: Why Inclusion Is an Economic Imperative
You’ve probably heard it: “DEI is dead,” “It’s too political,” and “We’re pulling back until the heat dies down.” Well, here’s a radical idea: those whispers are wrong. 🤦♂️
Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) isn’t a distraction from business—it’s the backbone of it. The numbers don’t lie: companies that prioritize IDEA outperform, out-innovate, and outlast those that don’t.
Here’s the deal:
💰 The ROI of DEI: McKinsey, Deloitte, and Accenture all confirm it—diverse, inclusive companies are more profitable, innovative, and retain top talent. If you’re not thinking inclusively, you’re leaving money on the table.
⚠️ The Cost of Not Investing in DEI: High turnover, reputational damage, and lack of innovation are just a few of the costs when you ignore DEI.
The bottom line? DEI is not just the right thing to do. It’s the smart thing to do. Let’s talk about how inclusive businesses are shaping the future.

So for now, here are seven of our favorite LGBTQ+ characters with disabilities on TV.

🚨 The Real Cost of Excluding LGBTQIA+ People at Work 🚨
LGBTQIA+ people are in your workplace—whether you realize it or not. But here's the hard truth: many don’t feel safe being themselves. The cost of that silence and fear? It's not just personal—it’s business.
When LGBTQIA+ employees aren’t visible or don’t feel safe to be out, it leads to higher stress, lower engagement, increased turnover, and more. And the worst part? It's avoidable.
In my latest blog, I break down how inclusion is a business imperative—not just a moral one. Safe, inclusive environments boost retention, innovation, and customer trust. The bottom line: If your workplace isn't LGBTQIA+ inclusive, you’re losing money. 💸

It's time for change—let’s bridge the gap and build a future where equal pay is the standard, not the exception.
