José Fernández, nacido en Jersey City y criado en Union City, NJ, es un artista digital con raíces puertorriqueñas y cubanas. Su pasión por el arte comenzó en tercer grado al ver a un amigo dibujar a Goku, lo que despertó en él el deseo de crear imágenes, una magia que hoy expresa a través del arte digital con bases tradicionales.
La música puertorriqueña ha sido clave en su desarrollo, influyendo en su trabajo al rendir homenaje a los artistas que marcaron su vida. Inspirado por las carátulas de álbumes y sus conceptos visuales, ha desarrollado piezas que expanden sus historias, incluso adaptando el universo de YHLQMDLG en un cómic.
Firme creyente en la manifestación, crea con la intención de atraer oportunidades y abrir puertas. Su experiencia más impactante fue descubrir que su arte ayudó a alguien a encontrar razones para seguir adelante.
Actualmente, trabaja en The Meyend, su cómic sobre un niño con el poder de manifestar sus pensamientos, explorando cómo el control de la mente puede cambiar la realidad.
Con mucho amor, y con recuerdos hermosos les presento mi última pieza de arte. Esta Pieza comenzó con la idea de brindarle homenaje a @grupomaniaoficial@elviscrespolive , y ahora también brinda un homenaje a mi madre.
Mi primer recuerdo de la musica a mis 3 años es de mi mama explotando bocinas con el casete de Suavemente. Mi mama le encanto el baile y la musica y su artista favorito fue Elvis Crespo.
Al principio de este año, entre medio de quimioterapia mami me mira a los ojos y me dijo lo orgullosa que esta de mi, y me dio las gracias por cumplirle todos sus deseos pero faltaba uno. Su ultimo deseo fue conocer y bailar con @elviscrespolive y yo (siendo muy creyente de la manifestación) le digo cuidao y se aparecen en puerto rico coincidiendo con la fecha que ya teníamos planeado viajar.
Y asi mismo pasó. Llego a la casa esa noche y por sorpresas de la vida veo el anuncio de @grupomaniaoficial anunciando el show en el choli! Rapido compre tickets y la próxima vez que vi a mami le di la sorpresa.
Con ojos aguados y sonrisas mami agarro todos sus Casetes y CD’s y me pidio que le tomara la foto para enseñarle al mundo lo fanatica que era.
Lamentablemente, despues de una batalla bien dura con el cancer, mami fallece el 16 de abril y aunque no podre bailar con ella en el concierto, se que su alma estara conmigo gritando todas las canciones de @elviscrespolive@grupomaniaoficial .
Gracias Elvis y Grupo Mania por su musica y todos los lindos recuerdos atados a ella. Hasta en sus últimos momentos Mami canto y bailo todas sus canciones.
Hoy le sonrio a la vida y le doy las gracias por todo.
Feliz día de las madres a mi hermosa mama. Gracias Mami por todo el amor que me diste, siempre lo llevare conmigo.
