More rare than Diamonds or Gold When we build things out of wood, we can trick ourselves into thinking this is a common material, when in reality, wood is much more rare than diamonds or gold in the entire universe. If you travel in space, you will often find plants or asteroids completely made up of gold or diamonds, forged by cosmic events that are constantly happening. Fine, authentic, genuine hardwood, however, can only be found here on earth that we know of. And here we are, getting to create art and furniture with it. So next time you set out on a project using wood, maybe professionally, maybe just as a hobbyist, just know you are working with one of the rarest materials in the universe. Art that vanishes on the next tide 🪨🌊 Jon Foreman, known online as @sculpttheworld , builds intricate patterns from stones, shells, and seaweed on beaches. The work is made by hand, photographed, and left to return to the shoreline’s cycles. That impermanence is the point: the piece exists fully, then dissolves without a trace. It’s craft that collaborates with weather, tide, and time. When art is designed to disappear, attention becomes the real collector. Media: @sculpttheworld

The orange late-afternoon light can evoke nostalgia because our brains strongly connect sensory details with emotional moments. When something meaningful happens—like the last day of school—you become more aware of your surroundings, including the warm sunlight, quiet halls, and the feeling that a chapter of life is ending. That warm glow, partly created by the atmospheric effect called Rayleigh scattering, already feels calm and reflective. When your brain stores that moment in memory, it links the color of the light with the emotions of change, relief, and sentimentality, so later on, seeing that same orange hue can instantly bring back the nostalgic feeling of that day. 🌅🎓

Reports circulating online claim that a leak tied to the development of Grand Theft Auto VI allegedly cost a Rockstar Games employee their job. One of the most widely shared claims suggested the game could include more than 700 enterable buildings, ranging from small shops to malls and high-rise skyscrapers. Other rumored features include a visible weight gain and loss system, the return of the classic six-star wanted level, large sections of Vice City redesigned as the biggest city Rockstar has built, underwater exploration, elevators inside skyscrapers, more advanced police AI, dynamic weather with storms, and NPCs following daily routines. None of these details have been officially confirmed by Rockstar.

Fox Broadcasting Company has ordered a new animated series titled Stewie, expanding the universe of Family Guy with a two-season pickup. The show will center on Stewie Griffin, the show’s famously scheming toddler, after he gets expelled from his preschool and enrolls in a new one. From there, the story follows Stewie using his gadgets and inventions to drag his classmates into chaotic adventures that jump through space and time. The spinoff was created by Seth MacFarlane alongside longtime series writer Kirker Butler, who will serve as showrunner. MacFarlane will continue voicing Stewie for both the new series and the original show. The project is scheduled to premiere during the 2027–2028 television season on Fox, with episodes streaming the following day on Hulu and internationally on Disney+. It becomes the second major spinoff from the franchise after The Cleveland Show, which aired from 2009 to 2013.
