another successful Mending Table!
needles in full swing, lots of hand sewing, all different mends and a couple of visitors that came for a chat! It was a very lovely afternoon. Thank you for coming !
Roxana’s hearts ♥️
Roxana didn’t have anything to mend so she wanted to try doing some Appliqué (took me back to college textiles!). She started by cutting out little paper hearts as her template, which she then shared with everyone at the table. She cut out the hearts in fabric and hand stitched onto fabric, very beautifully.
it happen to be valentines that week! a very heart warming day filled with Roxana’s hearts. A joy to have her!
12th February, our 2nd workshop!
we had some of our lovely regulars aswell as a couple of new people to the table. Roxanna, Lanka, Lily!
Emily brought a stunning lemon drizzle which we all picked at.
many holes were mended, even a trolley bag!
