NEW!!!📍The Melt | Torrance @ Del Amo Mall 🔥🔥🔥JUST OPENED next to Macy’s and with gluten-free options🔥🔥🔥 🧀The Melt - if you’re a fellow cheesaholic - this place is for you! 🥪Three Cheese Classic (on GF bread) 🍔 Original Melt Burger (on GF bun) 🥫Tomato soup 🍟Sweet potato fries 🍪Rice Krispy treats 🥒Every entree comes with a dill pickle *The grilled cheese has a dreamy blend of cheeses that makes it ooey and gooey with crispy grilled bread so it’s got a good crunch. It’s the kind of grilled cheese that makes you forget about any other grilled cheese 🧡💛 *The Melt Burger comes with a thick, tangy melted pickle jalapeño cheese sauce sitting on top of melted cheddar and it’s terrific. The burger patty was good quality and perfectly grilled. *The tomato soup was creamy, a bit sweet, just right for dipping. *Nice sweet potato fries that were crunchy and had a hint of brown sugar and spice in the seasoning. 🫶The Melt originally hails from San Francisco. They started with only Grilled Cheese and tomato soup, now they have expanded to offer burgers, chicken sandwiches, salad and more. There is even a fancy little artisanal soda fountain and a large dog-friendly patio 🐾 👀Important note: they initially brought us non-gluten-free versions of both the burger and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese looked so good I immediately knew it wasn’t GF. 😭 (also pictured) They corrected it, but this is definitely a place where you need to confirm your order before eating. Once fixed: • They use Udi’s Gluten Free bread and buns • Several items can be made gluten-free ⚠️Shared fryer and shared grill One thing to know: the single burger isn’t very large, most people were ordering the double.
