‘Bang’ is a movie on Amazon Prime in the action genre. This movie has action with very slight drama. The cast is diverse and the acting is okay. The writing and plot is ordinary. This film has a run time of 87 minutes at a moderate to slow pace. After the initial jump right into action at the beginning it drags and offers no true storyline other than someone being altered after a traumatic event. The production was okay. I rate this film a 5/10.

‘Nemesis’ is a series on Netflix in the thriller genre. This show has drama, crime, and slight romance and humor. The creator of the show is obvious as this has the typical overzealous cop trying to stop the criminal plot from ‘Power’. The cast is diverse and the overall acting is acceptable. The writing is predictable in many cases but has surprises here and there. It also brings attention to the concept of morality and how far one would go to get their desired outcome. The plot wasn’t evenly distributed as episode 6 stalled a bit… However, the show was entertaining and dynamic overall. There are 8 episodes that range from 56 to 63 minutes at a moderate to fast pace. The production was immaculate. I’m not a fan of the ending but I guess it leaves room for another season. I rate this show a 7.5/10.

‘Another Man’s Wife’ is a movie on Peacock in the drama genre. It has a soap opera feel due to the music used (that’s often too loud). The cast is limited and the overall acting is subpar. The writing touches on a few important topics but is predictable. This movie has a run time of 91 minutes at a slow pace. The production is low budget. There was poor camera and audio work in many scenes. I rate this film a 6.5/10.

‘Lord of The Flies’ is a series on Netflix in the drama genre. This film has drama and adventure. The cast is somewhat diverse and the acting is good. The writing of the book is good but I’m not sure the series portrayed it well enough. The plot didn’t seem dynamic. There are 4 episodes that are approximately an hour at an extremely slow pace. Production wise, the editing was cut harshly from scene to scene and there were several unnecessary scenes included. I rate this series a 6/10.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 6 is a series on Hulu in the drama and sci-fi genres. This is a sci-fi show with lots of drama and action. The cast is diverse and the acting is wonderful. The writing was good and nicely tied the series together. The “My name is” moment was a nice touch. Although this series seemed to be stuck in a loop a bit again, the conclusion to the plot was perfect. There are 10 episodes that range from 38 to 57 minutes at a moderate to slow pace. Production wise there are great visuals throughout the series.. I really appreciate the intention on color for uniforms as well. I rate Season 6 a 8/10.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 5 is a series on Hulu in the drama and sci-fi genres. This is a sci-fi show with drama and action. The cast is diverse and the acting is marvelous. The writing is predictable and seems to go in circles. Although, there are some intriguing moments within. There are 10 episodes that range from 44 to 58 minutes at a slow pace. The lighting still remains an issue with this series. I rate Season 5 a 7/10.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 4 is a series on Hulu in the drama and sci-fi genres. This is a sci-fi show with drama, slight action, and a little suspense. The cast is diverse and the acting is great. We get a little bit more intel on some characters. However, the writing and plot is not as deep as the predecessors. There are 10 episodes that range from 40 to 62 minutes at a slow pace. ‘American Gladiators’ is a series on Amazon Prime in the reality competition genre. This is an action based show with games that require physicality while briefly sharing the contestants’ stories. The cast is diverse and everyone brought unique personalities. There are 24 contestants and 16 gladiators. The host (The Miz) and cohost (Rocsi Diaz) surprisingly are good combo for this show. There are 10 episodes that range from 40 to 48 minutes at a moderate pace. The challenges go by rather quickly while the rest is just entrances, commentary, and the contestants stories. The editing and production is good. I like how they had substitutes on standby and also replaced anyone who was injured. I rate this show a 6/10.

‘Million Dollar Secret’ Season 2 is a reality game show on Netflix. This show has drama and strategy. It still continues to host games within games. It also had its share of new twists. The cast could be more diverse but at least nearly everyone brought tv worthy personality. The host, Peter, is perfect for the this series. There are 8 episodes that range from 52 to 63 minutes at a moderate pace. The editing and production of this series continues to be of great quality. However, I still feel like this show should add atleast two more players… Maybe even midway through the show as a surprise element. There’s also still a heavy sabotage when the advantages the players attempt is then used in a clue. Nevertheless, the winner was worthy because they made the right moves at the right moments. (The runner up did course correct and surprised me though.) I rate this show a 7.5/10. (*One player also was unfairly eliminated.. they should’ve been exempt atleast for that round table)
