GE, Blackberry, Tower Records, Blockbuster gone. AI will be gone next … bahahaha. Maybe not but you will be if you don’t get a life. You really never know how things might turn out so make the most of all of it. You know the saying, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The saying should be shorten the tunnel and get to the light faster.
Oh and yes I’m repeating this song. It’s worth it. Brings me back to singer songwriter times of the …. Palm pilot and GE. And all those things that we learned as teens in the 70’s and 80’s. Kind of the same as now but the “answers” are now in our palm. We had to try that thing and get banged over the head… that’s what’s missing today. Doesn’t have to be missing. Go hi and go low. Fix your own fence and go to that fancy event or conference that you don’t want to go to. Have the experience. Don’t google for the answer. The answer is in having the experience.

I started an executive search business when I was 26 and grew it to 150 consultants on billing and 16 headhunters nationwide. I hired young people out of college and developed this unorthodox intense training style …. And it worked! It was all about putting yourself in a position of strength and finding the Confidence…. And I tried different things with different people. Recently I congratulated one of those people on a top sales rep award and she replied, it was thanks to those early training days of JFDI.
Made me laugh … and made my day.

I have my Landmark Preservation approval so I can take the mock up down. This mock up shows Landmarks people how tall my penthouse addition will be and that I am respecting the guidelines to preserve these neighborhoods and the sight-lines from the street so when you look up at some of the 180 yr old details of the cornice etc, it looks the same today as it did in 1838. And my neighbor is happy to not have this orange thing looming over her outdoor rooftop environment.
Your neighbors are your business partner on these projects. Keep it tidy!

My Father was in the US Army and loved shinning his shoes and tell stories of boot camp and how you got inspected for the shine on your shoes and how the Sargent would bounce a quarter off the bunk bed and if it didn’t bounce back into his hand you had to make it again!
