We’re sorting colourful moss, miniature props, tiny creatures, magical add-ins, and all kinds of imaginative materials to get ready for the workshop.
The creativity that’s about to happen in the Mess Lab is going to be AMAZING. We can't wait to welcome our guests to this magical event next Friday!

The Makery Flower Shop was a hit with some of the kiddos at camp today! They took their jobs very seriously, with the lad in the back tasked to write up the receipts for the customers!
Dramatic (pretend) play was always my favourite type of play when I was a child, and it’s such a joy to create these spaces for the children that visit us. 🌸🌺
This creative scene is full of colour, patterns, and imagination! Simple materials can turn into something pretty amazing. Love watching children engage with our provocations.
The flowers have arrived and await the campers to make a creative new home for them tomorrow! Each camper will get a 4 inch clay pot to paint/bedazzle and make their own as well as some clay, goggle eyes, feathers, etc to make a "plant guardian" character to glue to the edge. Lots of other fun planned too! Can't wait!

We had so much fun making chef hats, slime cakes, playing games and eating real chocolate this past Friday! Always such a fun group of kiddos that join us!
So many magical moments this week! This is just a few of the many I got to be a part of. Had a last-minute idea to do a glow in the dark easter egg hunt this afternoon and it was a hit!! The kids took turns hiding and finding the eggs in three of the rooms that we could make darker.
A couple of the amazing pom pom pets the kids made at camp today! These were so adorable and many of the kids stayed there for over an hour designing an entire family of them!
