This Diwali, we designed the festive specials menu for @copperchimney_in , inspired by the traditional Punjabi craft of Phulkari.
The accordion fold-out format echoes the flow of a dupatta, while the vibrant colours reflect the bold, robust flavours of the celebratory Punjabi dishes within — a meeting of heritage, craft and cuisine. ✨ (Menu, menu design, design, graphic design, hospitality design, restaurant design )

This past Diwali, we designed the festive specials menu for @copperchimney_in . The menu celebrated Diwali through elevated Punjabi dishes, so we drew inspiration from Phulkari, the traditional weaving technique rooted in Punjab.
Woven and worn on special occasions, the Phulkari dupatta became the perfect design cue — which we translated into an accordion fold-out menu, mimicking the graceful flow and layered drape of a dupatta. The vibrant colour palette drew directly from Phulkari embroidery, chosen to mirror the bold, robust flavours served across the festive menu.
A century-old craft, a heritage cuisine, and a festive experience stitched together through culture, colour and flavour. ✨

Woven and worn on special occasions, the Phulkari dupatta felt like the perfect symbol for a celebratory menu — its century-old craft echoing the heritage and legacy of Copper Chimney’s cuisine.

It’s a reflection of how advanced technology, from AI models to WhatsApp-based health education, is helping save mothers and children across India’s semi-urban and rural landscapes. Modern, intuitive, impactful - the new website visuals echo the sophistication of ARMMAN’s tech interventions, married with the important ‘human touch’ factor.
From predictive analytics that prevent health dropouts, to mobile-based programs that ensure no mother or child is left behind, the revamped ARMMAN website is a transparent, informative website which gives donors confidence of the credibility of the organisation.

We're excited to share insights into the recent brand refresh for ARMMAN's visual system. This project was particularly special and challenging due to ARMMAN's unique approach of integrating grassroots healthcare in India with technology.
Dr. Aparna Hegde, a urogynaecologist and ARMMAN's founder, established the organization in 2008. She was driven by her experiences during residency, where she witnessed the tragic and preventable deaths of women and children. ARMMAN was founded to combat these avoidable fatalities and disabilities during pregnancy and childbirth.
While we refreshed the original symbol, which is integral to ARMMAN's inception story, we felt it was crucial to upgrade the overall brand to better reflect their growth mindset and tech-forward approach. This new visual perspective helps us to:
✨ Clearly communicate their mission of transforming maternal and child health through modern typography and iconography. ✨ Tell their story with clarity, empathy, and purpose through a thoughtful use of color and illustrations. ✨ Support a stronger, unified presence as they continue to expand their reach and impact.
The transformation goes beyond a simple visual update; it's a systemic and conscious effort to create a visual system that does not alienate its original target audience of mothers and children and accurately represents and explains the impactful work ARMMAN does every day through their various programs.
