One week later and I’m still not over how exciting it was to cover the Met Gala for Today.com! From pre event predictions to fast paced fashion takes during the live event and getting to share my best dressed list alongside icons @stacylondonreal and @juliematosstyle it was a night to remember! So proud to represent @curioexperience and show that fashion is thriving in Chicago!

Meet Maggie Gilette, exert panelist for the “What is Personal Style, Really?” Event on April 23rd! Maggie Gillette is a fashion industry professional, freelance writer, and four-time founder. She created a successful intimates brand ethically manufactured in NYC. 🗽 Maggie then gained extensive organizational leadership experience when she launched and ran the most prominent independent intimates trade show for four years leading up to the pandemic. At that time, she returned to her hometown of Chicago and, shortly thereafter, joined The Curio as a Principal in May of 2022. Her experiences as a designer and trade show owner perfectly complement her partner Ian’s event-showcasing experiences. In 2025, Maggie became part of the team of industry experts that launched Chicago Fashion Vanguard, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the local fashion community.
