The 2x25 Review is here. 2,500 voices. 68 countries. One clear message. Progress is visible at the top of our sport. But everyday lived experience still tells a more complex story. 65% report discrimination. 85% of women report sexism. Nearly 60% have had to adapt their behaviour to feel accepted. Representation is improving. Belonging and access still need work. The 2x25 Review sets out a framework for real change across leadership, mentoring, funding and safeguarding. This is not a criticism. It’s an invitation. Read the full 2x25 Review. 🔗 Link in bio #2x25Review #EquityInSport #Sailing #MarineIndustry #Inclusion TheMagentaProject 💜

The most ambitious equity and inclusion review in global sailing has launched and your voice is needed. The Magenta Project’s 2x25 Global Survey expands on the landmark 2019 review, this time addressing not just gender, but also racism, ableism, and ageism across the sport and marine industry. From July to September 2025, we are gathering voices from across the sector: ⛵ Athletes ⚓ Coaches, officials 🛠 Industry professionals 🧪 STEM & marine innovators Whether you’re on the water or behind the scenes, this is your chance to help build a more inclusive, transparent, and relevant future for our sport. We can’t fix what we don’t measure. Let’s create a new baseline, together. 📲 Take the survey via the link in our bio. #TheMagentaProject #InclusionInSailing #EquityInSport #MarineIndustry #WomenInSailing #AccessibleSailing

An invitation to be part of something remarkable. đź’ś Sixteen women. One dream. A story still being written. Opportunities for women to compete at the highest levels of sailing are rare. Even rarer is the opportunity to bring a new cohort of accomplished female sailors into the heart of an established competition like the Nations League. So, thank you, genuinely, to everyone at ClubSwan Racing and Nautor Swan who have made this possible. What you are providing is extraordinary, and its impact reaches far beyond the start line. This season, 16 women are competing through the partnership between The Magenta Project and ClubSwan Racing across the Nations League events in Bonifacio, Porto Rotondo, Porto Rafael and the Rolex Swan Cup. What started with 12 applications in the first 24 hours has grown into more than 50 applicants from 13+ nationalities, aged 18 to 48. The talent is there. The ambition is there. What’s needed now is the support to match it. Every sailor currently racing has paid her own way. None are paid for their time. These women are not hobbyists. They are building pathways into elite sailing while helping shape a more inclusive future for the sport. Behind this sits the wider work of The Magenta Project: nearly 400 women supported through mentoring programmes, leadership initiatives with IMOCA and The Ocean Race, STEM clinics, career pathways and community building across sailing and the marine industry. We’re incredibly grateful to ClubSwan Racing and Nautor Swan for believing in this vision and helping create meaningful access to one of the sport’s most competitive racing environments. Now, we’re looking for partners and supporters who want to help grow this momentum and be part of creating lasting change in sailing. If this story resonates with you, we would love to hear from you. 🌊 Victoria Low, CEO, The Magenta Project [email protected] themagentaproject.org

Last week in Pensacola, five women from different countries, backgrounds and sailing pathways came together to race a ClubSwan 28 through the collaboration between @themagentaproj and @clubswan Racing. 💜 It started as a spontaneous opportunity and quickly became something much bigger than a regatta result. It became a reminder of what can happen when women are given the space to race together, learn together and grow together. Throughout the week, the team built trust, adapted quickly and developed a strong onboard culture rooted in communication, openness and mutual support. A huge thank you to ClubSwan Racing for supporting this initiative and helping create meaningful access to elite racing environments. We’re excited to continue building this pathway together across the season. 🌊 🎬: @chantalferrero_

The Magenta Project and ClubSwan Racing have come together to put two Magenta boats on the water this season. The opening event saw Team Magenta and the ClubSwan Academy team, powered by five women from The Magenta Project along with two coaches take to the racecourse. This is an opportunity for women from across the global Magenta network to get world class racing experience. And this week in Bonifacio was only the start… so keep your eyes on @themagentaproj across the season! This week I swapped my usual role 📷🎥 for the pit of a ClubSwan36. A chance to challenge my racing experience but I couldn’t resist some GoPro footage 🤙🏼

In strong breeze conditions, the Magenta Project crew stepped it up—flying the kite during racing and backing themselves when it mattered. “We have the skills. We have the knowledge… we just have to trust it.” Led by tactician Anna Weinzieher, this team is building fast—finding confidence with every manoeuvre and pushing a little harder each time out on the water. “Today was about keeping it safe… next, we go faster.” 📍 Bonifacio 📸 ClubSwan Racing | @tidalpulsemedia #ClubSwanRacing #MagentaProject #Swan36 #WomenInSailing #Bonifacio RaceDay

Meet Magenta Project ClubSwan Academy! ClubSwan wants to see more women in sailing. The Magenta Project is making that happen. And it’s our mission to support them. The mission runs deeper than results. Together, ClubSwan and the Magenta Project are building a real pathway for women into high-performance inshore racing. The project launched last week in Pensacola, Florida, USA onboard the ClubSwan 28. This week, that’s happening in Bonifacio. Three all-female teams. Two venues. One big statement from ClubSwan Racing. “If you are a woman thinking about getting into race boat ownership, or prefer to attend a syndicate, be an investor or just a crew, this is your place.” — Victoria Low, CEO of Magenta Project Contact Magenta Project Team or ClubSwan Racing

One year ago, we introduced our new brand identity 💜 Moving from a single colour into a more inclusive and unified design, reflecting who we are today and the direction we’re heading. Design helps us show the world who we are and what we stand for. It carries meaning, purpose and impact. Over the past year, we’ve received so much positive feedback. The identity feels more inclusive, more consistent and more aligned with our mission. A huge thank you to Miriam, who reimagined our visual identity, and Quique, who brought it to life through our website. @pino.design.practice Because design doesn’t just shape how we look. It shapes how we connect, how we communicate and how we create space for others. 🔗 Explore more via link in bio #TheMagentaProject #WorldDesignDay #DesignForChange #BrandIdentity #Inclusion

Racing this weekend with a new team coming together 💜 For the @ClubSwan 28, @themagentaproj is fielding a crew in Pensacola, USA, as part of the test regatta for the new class in the United States. The team brings together sailors from different pathways, experiences and backgrounds, all connected by performance, ambition and a shared belief in what’s possible on the water. Meet the crew: @alexyatimba – A high-performance keelboat racer with experience from national leagues to international circuits, combining elite sailing with a career in medicine. @segel_lena – A multi-class sailor and leadership coach, leading within The Magenta Project community while continuing to race and support team development on and off the water. @ejansonn24 – An offshore-focused sailor and experienced coach, combining competitive racing with a strong commitment to youth development and ocean sustainability. @savannahtaylr – An emerging offshore talent representing Canada internationally, building high-performance opportunities while balancing a career in engineering. @megannicholesails – An offshore racer and expedition sailor who entered the sport later and shows how different pathways can lead to high-performance sailing. This moment is part of a big step forward. Through our new partnership with @clubswan Racing, we are creating new pathways into elite performance sailing, with all-female teams competing in the @clubswan36 Nations League this season. We’re excited to see this group come together and take on the weekend. 💪💨
