I’ve been in Menopause for 10 years.
I’ve worked with hundreds of clients in perimenopause and menopause.
I’ve worked with thousands of clients who’ve gone through cancer or are at risk for getting cancer through a gene 🧬
Most of my cancer clients don’t have a genetic mutation that has been discovered yet-
So why are people so quick to take one size fits all advice from someone on social media who doesn’t know their medical history?
Last night I had the pleasure of attending a @tasteandtalktogether salon with Dr. Debra Matityahu about How to Live Your Best (Mid) Life 💕
It was great ... Deb was super knowledgeable and although she is a big proponent of the benefits of Estrogen, she did admit if you aren’t experiencing menopause symptoms, you don’t necessarily need to be on it.
The room was filled with many women experiencing challenging symptoms and the most important bit of info I left with was: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD DOCTOR who listeners to you!
Many Gynecologists, while well meaning, aren’t able to support women the way they need support
And be careful taking advice online from someone selling their own brand of supplements 😉
