For the past 5 years, I’ve been using this home to host concerts. Bands from around the block, and around the world, have played shows here. This house has seen some shit. I’ve seen some shit. I can confidently say that I’m not the same person who moved here 5 years ago.
This house in Troy has served me as a home base. As an education in home ownership. A place to foster ideas, to dream big. As a headquarters for my construction business. It’s also served as a pillar of the music community. It served as education, as inspiration, as a proof that we need art in this world. A place to host family, friends, and strangers. Under one roof to enjoy good music, good company, and good conversation.
It’s also served as a platform. At times, it’s been difficult to juggle all the things I do, from performing, to hosting, to working construction jobs. But it’s gotten me here to where I am in life. For some time I’ve been ready for the next step in my life, the next direction.
Which is why I will be selling this house, to pursue music full time. With this platform, I’ve been able to meet people from all over, to travel, play shows, go to festivals. It’s this direction that I will be leaning into. Using my network all over. And finding the right balance with it all.
I will be forever grateful to the community here in the Capital region that supported me, supported one another, and followed their dreams, inspiring me to do the same. I’m excited and ready for what’s next.
