Weeks posts
As life has been getting crazier the last few weeks, I find myself immensely grateful for all the amazing coffee at our doorstep. Getting to buy new beans weekly and taking the time that first morning to be present and meet the flavours – it's such a luxury. Plus, with the Starbucks insert from Japan and the Pineapple cake cover from Taiwan, I'm also reminded of how lucky I am to be able to travel. Morning coffee time has also become a bit of a sacred ritual between me and my partner. No matter our schedule, we always share a cup before rushing off to tackle the day. Here's to keeping that in mind as we head into another hectic week... #travelersnotebook #travelerscompany #travelersnotebookcommunity #トラベラーズノートカードサイズ #トラベラーズノートのある暮らし

Not sure about anyone else, but one of the things I enjoy about our pen meets is finding other aesthetics that are close to mine, but just a little bit different. It makes me feel even more tightly woven into the community, but also unique. (Even when I found my aesthetic-twin!) And every time I go I am grateful for this little (though quickly growing) tribe of humans. I love hearing the oohs and aahs. I love the squees. I love the long explainers and nerdy diatribes. Every moment is full of expressions of love. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, but today, it was just what I needed. I have to admit, I have a shadow of the Sunday-scaries this week. There are three exhausting weeks ahead of me. I'm gripping tight to these memories and the goodies I got to get me to the next one. Thank you to everyone who braved the closed public transport to come. 🥰

Did I say I was done buying inks after Taiwan? Oops. Picked up another batch on Amazon since the prices were too good to pass up. Plus, these are my first Taccia! I'm loving the mellow colours and looking forward to trying Waka-Taka in my Waka-Taka PGS 🦅

The stamp collection has been growing as wild as the inks. I finally caved and put them into stackable boxes. Need to buy more already, though 😅

I made a snap decision Monday night to run into @milligramstore George St to get a @kaweco.germany DIY Sport. I sat out the maroon version because I don't normally use Kawecos all that much – in fact, I sold all my ALSports a while back. But this was a nice pick-me-upon an otherwise bad day. And I got to have a lovely chat with a fellow FP fan. Thank goodness for this hobby.

My #xteink X4 out in the wild. I'm enjoying how small it is but think it needs some kind of cover... Hmm.

Apparently small things are all I'm fixated on at the moment. I'm especially excited to play with the new e-reader I got. It's cheaper than most fountain pens 🤭 and I love how teenie tiny it is. I really wish it would fit in either the Plotter Mini or TN Card, though (it doesn't 😭). I bought this one for the physical buttons, but depending on reviews of the S4, I may also upgrade to that since it'll run Android (meaning I can borrow directly from the SYD library system).

Broke open the last of my Taiwan coffee bags after a poor night of sleep. Taiwanese coffee is still new (though incredibly promising), so volumes are low and prices sky high. I'm really enjoying the bit of extra mindfulness that comes with this coffee log. I'm recording my thoughts first, then using AI to learn about the impact of varietal, geography, and fermentation on taste in a way that feels more accessible than watching YT videos. I really wish Midori would make a version of this stamp for tea!!! I've also landed on the final form for my #travelerscompany card EDC setup. I got a Leuchtturm XL pen holder and slotted it thru a cut in the folder (I forgot who shared this hack on IG) to hold onto my Coconut Kaweco and popped in a mini calender insert for a quick at-a-glance monthly view.

The #travelersnotebook card size has quickly become a constant favourite and integral to my EDC. My morning routine is still to use my TAN (in the A6 TSL cover) to track my sleep, ground in gratitude, and decide what "good" looks like for the day, but the Card TN is where I jot down all kinds of little notes like shopping lists, random tasks, thoughts, notes from my physio, etc. It's a pure, simple thinking space and somehow works better for my mind in little disposable booklets than in an M5 binder. I'm even thinking of altering an M5 monthly spread into this little guy to jot down appointments. Now I need to find more freebie postcards to make booklets from...

Another comparison of the @plotter_jp Mini5 and the @travelers_company 20th Anniversary Card size (this is my own TRPs insert from the last post, though – I'm not a fan of the default TN paper). It's a smidge wider and is easier to use the big Midori stamps on the #travelersnotebook card size. And, wow. I didn't realize how garbage the Plotter paper is. Whoops. Good thing I'm using the Plotter to scratch out notes. I guess the card TN is my new coffee notebook! How are you using yours?

Okay. The best part of this tiny size is that I can easily make TRP inserts using everyday cardboard. This is a pineapple 🍍 cake box I saved from Taiwan. A few A5 sheets folds quickly and easily into a 24pg booklet. Nifty. I wonder what else I can repurpose. 🤔 Cards? #travelersnotebook #travelersnotebooks #トラベラーズノートカードサイズ

I normally don't jump on unboxings, but here's my speed run of the #travelersnotebook 20th Anniversary card edition. @travelers_company #トラベラーズノートカードサイズ
