Two years ago, I started The Libi Project after realizing how few spaces there were for early-stage culinary creatives to genuinely connect, collaborate, and feel supported in their career growth.
So many chefs, producers, and creatives pour their time, heart, and energy into shaping our food culture, often without access to mentorship, resources, or stability. The Libi Project’s Culinary Industry Nights began as a way to give back, to create space for those starting their own culinary projects and to reimagine what alternative career paths in this industry could look like.
What started as a small idea, a gathering, a conversation, a night to connect, has grown into a community, a creative studio, and now The Libi Journal. Led by
@sarahkatepanini @frenchbreadstudio &
@omer.kaplan.studio , we document the entrepreneurial journeys of mission-driven culinary creatives who have made The Libi Project what it is.
This journey continues to be about care, craft, and entrepreneurship, for those carving their own path at the intersection of food and creativity.
