Wow its one day from set up onsite. How times flown. Leodis Cup- the brain child of a Yorkshire lad in love of the Buhurt sport and medieval history along with a few others who see the vision have been working hard this last year and a half.
None of this is done with profits in mind- its all to share history and the sport in an area that doesnt usually see these tournaments.
So hands up whose coming along Saturday/Sunday to support the fighters/re-enactors/traders and the many volunteers that go into making this event a reality 👐👐👐👐

✨️Meet the Vendors - @dreaded_mead ✨️
Mead is the oldest known alcoholic beverage. the oldest bottle found in Europe dates back to 2500bc, and apparently could still be consumed today (not that we are sure how much you would want to!). Dreadedmead is a family run business aiming to bring mead into the modern age and to be drunk for everyone’s enjoyment (not just viking enthusiasts!).

✨️Leodis Cup Countdown- 3 days✨️
Parking reminder- given the situation with limited parking spaces at the Kirkstall Abbey carpark its highly advised that teams travel by carpooling wherever possible.
There are also multiple train stations around the area (Kirkstall Forge and Headingley Station) and various bus stops along the A65.
So dont get caught out leaving transport planning to the last minute!
