When I decided to create a Josephine Baker costume and act I wanted to honor her in my Mz. Juno way, heavy on the sass and lots of sparkle! And the journey of growing the act has been amazing. Studying her quirks and mannerisms while still staying true to my artistry is why I think this act has become one of my signature acts. My Josephine tribute act has taken me places far and wide, made me an international performer, and has allowed me amazing experiences. Keeping her legacy alive and educating the masses about her contributions to this beloved artform is truly such a pleasure, honor and so rewarding. Iβd like to think that sheβs up there working her magic in some divine cosmic way for all of us down here keeping legacy alive. Shout out to all the Josephines ππΎππΎππΎ

I broke my own cardinal rule: no new items on day of a big show/competition, and that even goes for the brand new shoe cushions I picked up from cvs on my way to the venue π€£π€£π€£ a lot of people thought the shoe kick off was intentional but you can see in my face that wasnβt supposed to happen ππππ²π²π² accidents happen π€·πΎββοΈ how you recover is keyπ
2026 Teaser festival complete!
My second competition and I think because I went into it not expecting anything is why I had so much fun! I hugged so many friends old and new, I laughed hard and smiled till my cheeks hurt, cried tears of joy and was gagged every night at the amazing talented artists I saw give their all on these stages. Met some really cool people, made some dope connections, a time was truly had! We all won because we got a chance to experience this together β€οΈ Congratulations to our new Royal Court:
