I’ve been waiting to post about the video because of how much this means to me, and sort of finding the words has been tough, but here goes. In October, it will be my 10th anniversary of running the @dickiesskate program. When I started I never really dreamt of how far we would take this. A decade later I get to stand on stage with people I consider family (and my actual family) and introduce a full-length film I got to direct, and shoot with a bunch of my close friends. First and foremost; this program doesn’t work without the support we have from skate-shops and skaters. So to everyone who has bought Dickies from a skateshop and everyone who buys them to skate in, this video happened because you allowed us to succeed and for that I thank you all. The video was for the culture. Thank you to the team for delivering some of the best skateboarding I’ve ever seen. Thank you to Bobby Bils, Kevin Perez, Jacob Harris, Matt Schleyer, and Geoff Brown, for filming along side me. Thank you to Adrian Adrid for not only being a wonderful friend; but a wonderful team manager. We wouldn’t have been able to do this without you. Thank you to Sam Muller and Oliver Barton who are two of the greatest (if not the greatest) skate photographers in the world; and it’s an honor to have you capture this team’s magic. Thank you to my wife Danni; who is not only our graphic designer, but also my therapist; you have the hardest job in the world 🤣. Thank you to our sales team, without you guys grinding daily this doesn’t work. I appreciate you all. To everyone at Dickies who has supported Dickies Skateboarding over the years, you are each apart of getting us to this place we’re at today, and for that I thank you.
