Day 3 of the @triniteroadrally was an incredible experience spent on the @racesonoma Sonoma Raceway. Track Day included 4 guided preview laps and 2 timed laps tackling 304 turns and 19 timing controlled scores. It’s not every day you see a 4x4 SUV on a race track! 🏁
Day 3 bought this inaugural road rally to a close. Congrats to Team #28 Dana Wilke of @thejessicombsfoundation and Racine Warner of @warner_ineos_grenadier for their awesome performance in the Storyteller Grand Bohemian.

For the first time, we’ve opened up early arrival, so you can roll in Thursday and settle into camp before the weekend kicks off.
And Thursday night? We’re gathering for a viewing party of @thejessicombs : The Fastest Woman on Earth (now sold out with 150 riders attending) at the theater walking distance from camp. A night to come together, honor a legend, and start the weekend off right. After, we will walk down to Big Eddy’s for a kick off party!

Day 2 of the @triniteroadrally was full of more technical driving and roadbook reading. It included a lunch and prep stop at The Booneville Hotel. Then back on the road for the more difficult section of the day, before settling in at @riverelectric for the night.

Valve clearance check on the CB750 today. Never done this before, completely figuring it out as I go, which honestly is kind of the whole theme of this build.
Every intake valve needs adjustment, especially on the cylinder that already failed the compression test. Not exactly surprising but still a little humbling. The exhaust valves were all within spec though, so I’ll take that win.
Also, thank you all so much for the help on my last reel. The caps were seized and trashed when I got the bike, so I already have replacements on the way. You all came through.
