How it’s been almost 40 years since the three of us have been together is such a shame. Life is so crazy and can get so busy and hard but these guys are friends I’ve kept in touch with and who I consider truly kindred. Catching up on each other’s lives has been so fun and being together again feels like it was just yesterday when we were all together.
Got to get out for a nice sunny round at Rowallan Castle Golf Course just south of Glasgow. I love this course - the staff are so friendly and helpful. Played alone so got to take my time and take some pics along the way. Watching my swing makes me realize I'm definitely an old man now - freakin stiff neck and hunched back 🧓
I shot 81 - a good score for me but had such a great front nine at only 1 over only to come back down to earth and stumble in the back at 8 over to ruin my chance to score in the 70's yet again 🤦. I have the mental fortitude of a true non-champion. At least I parred 18. Who would have thought that a castle and a golf course would be such a nice combo?
