Nina Sun (@thejadetyger ) came up through traditional drawing and painting before moving into tattooing, and that background is still doing the work. Based in the DC/MD/VA area since 2019, she works in black and grey realism, color realism, and surrealism β hyper-detailed, texture-rich, built to capture something specific rather than something generic. The fine art foundation shows most in how she handles a composition: nothing is accidental.
