Had to say goodbye to Thomas on Sunday. Crazy to think how long he’d been with me. I got him and his brother Oliver in August of 2005 and he was 5 months old. Twenty and half years old! He’s seen me through so many phases of my life and I am so grateful that I had the chance to keep him for this long. Again, some of the greatest, unforeseen parts of your life can blossom from some seemingly mundane event, like keeping a cat that nobody else wanted. Makes me smile inside. Love you, buddy♥️
Sweetie is exactly as she sounds…Sweet. I've known her since she was a puppy. I would bring April over to her place twice a week to do a playdate. She's almost eleven now, but she still has the punkish puppy that makes an occasional appearance. This is a pic I snapped while we were playing. #dogs #art
I am very grateful to Stan Honda for granting me the permission to post a drawing I did of one of his iconic photographs from 9/11. I would also like to dedicate this to Joseph Spor from Rescue 3 who perished in the South Tower that day. I remember being at your memorial service. Staring at your helmet that was found at St. Paul’s Chapel. From interviews that I had watched with other firemen that day, a story emerged. That a rescue team was trapped in the South Tower and called on the channel for help. Rescue 3 responded asking for their location and when it was given they calmly responded “We’re coming to get you.” Less than a minute later the tower fell. Thank you for your service.
