The instruments are played using fishing line, violin bows, files, cymbals, metal brushes, electric screwdrivers, and more. The album starts purely acoustic and ends purely electric, manifesting all kinds of unexpected sound constellations along the way.

the interstring project Blackout sa 16.05. 19:30 eineartfestival BLACKOUT ist eine multimediale Klangreise des experimentellen Gitarrenquartetts THE INTERSTRING PROJECT mit klassischen Gitarren, progressiven Metal-Riffs, Soundscapes, audioreaktiven Lichtern und atmosphärischen Video-Projektionen. Das Programm beinhaltet Eigenkompositionen sowie improvisatorische Teile und erforscht die Klangwelt zwischen akustischen und elektrisch verstärkten Instrumenten. Dabei spielen die vier Musiker immer wieder mit den Hörerwartungen an ihr Instrument und beleuchten den Kontrast zwischen unplugged und verstärkt aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln. Bio Ein leises Knistern, schwebende Klangwolken, pulsierende Bässe, eine verzerrte Gitarre wie ein Schrei – die Musik von THE INTERSTRING PROJECT ist ein besonderes klangliches Erlebnis. Das E-Gitarrenquartett aus dem Schwarzwald begeistert mit vielseitigen Programmen, kreativen Inszenierungen und energiegeladenen Performances ein breites Publikum für experimentelle Musik. Les quatre guitaristes jouent leurs instruments avec des archets, des tournevis ou des pinces à linge et utilisent des pédales d’effet et des sons électroniques pour créer des univers sonores extraordinaires. 🌗 @yojimbo_stoner_band Yojimbo (Strasbourg), quartet d’Intergalactic Stoner Rock, a émergé en 2019. Porté par une énergie cosmique, des sonorités progressives et des envolées vocales puissantes, le vaisseau Yojimbo navigue à travers les grooves massifs et catchy du stoner, en passant par les profondeurs abyssales du doom et les paysages éthérés du post-rock.
