Sube called me one day out of the blue after it had been awhile since we talked. He was laughing hysterically telling me he had just punctured his water bed and was filling home-depot buckets of water and dumping them out of his two-story window. “Jake! Hey man I know it’s been awhile but I knew you would get a kick out of this, i popped my water bed and my bedroom is a river, dad and I are scooping water out with buckets and tossing them out the window gotta go…this is gnarly man! Water is everywhere”.

Quick little timelapse of a recent hobby of mine; turning old skate decks🛹into cutting boards and various household items. First I peel the grip tape off, then sand off all graphics/paint/debris, next is chopping the nose & tail off, cutting the remaining deck into uniform strips, designing the layout (my favorite part), followed by gluing & clamping the strips together, more sanding & more sanding, then finishing the product with food-safe butcher block oil #recycledskateboards #woodworking
