In 2013 I discovered my love for watercolor painting after stumbling upon the artist "Agnes-Cecile." Her work truly inspired me to start my own watercolor journey. I've been attempting to master the medium ever since!

This little guy was voted on by the majority of the members of my channel, "The Surreal Art Cave" on Facebook. I haven't shared much progress on him yet because I've been so busy this summer with vending events.
Practice certainly means improvement! I can't wait to practice more this Fall.

I will never use AI. My work is always hand painted on paper using watercolor or gouache.

"The Wiseman" ✨️ Do you like ferrets? This little guy is technically an Ermine, which is in the Ferret family. A few years ago I was painting an entire series of mythical animals and my little world needed a wise creature, so I chose him! I've watched an Ermine catch a chipmunk before ~ they are really cool little animals.

This keeps happening to me and I wish I wasn't so "blind" It's crazy to me how often I think people are being nice when in reality they have other intentions.
Other people can point it out so quickly and I don't understand how they just "know." Sometimes I just feel like I'm living in the dark with some unwritten book that everyone else has. It doesn't help when you have a big social media following and creepy dudes are everywhere. 😥

It's a morel kind of day! 🍄😁 Yay! 178 morels in a single day is a new record for me.
Some life-happenings recently. After my ER stay, I've been trying to get back to a normal healthy rhythm again.
If there is one thing besides art that can bring me joy, even on the darkest of days, it's foraging and hunting for earth's abundance, hiking, and spending time with my kitties/family. I even got to break out my new Nikon again.
