To be in love and get to do life with your best friend is a blessing I do not take for granted. Thank you Femi for a decade of Heaven on earth. In our first year of marriage, someone literally whispered in church “abeg they just marry, let’s see how far they go reach”. Every year, I think about that statement and I’m grateful for how far we’ve come. I’m happy that I’m not enduring marriage but enjoying it to the fullest. Do the work on yourself first. 🖤 Let Him Talk Without It Becoming a Lecture This one changed everything for me. Kobe actually stopped me one day and said “Mom, you’re making the conversation not fun. I’m just telling you what the other kids did, I know not to do it.” That hit different. Just listen. 🙏🏽 🖤Patience Is Everything They are navigating SO much during this stage. Give them grace while they figure it out. 🖤 Bonus Tip 🖤 Ask him questions consistently.
