✨ 𝙄𝘾𝙁𝙋 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠: 𝙎𝙚𝙭 𝙊’𝘾𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙨 𝙀𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙙𝙚 1 ✨ One month later and I’m finally ready to process what happened in Bogotá. I hosted 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝘅 𝗢’𝗖𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀!! as 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 at FPNN, as 𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 openly talking about 𝘀𝗲𝘅, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, on the biggest 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭. And the wildest part? UNFPA approached me to interview their Resident Representative in Colombia, Luis Mora, live on stage. It was the UNFPA saying, “𝘿𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.” That moment will stay with me forever. Episode 1 focused on the UNFPA State of World Population (SOTW), a report that reminds us the 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 “𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆” 𝗼𝗿 “𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝘄” 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, and not pressure or blame.
