Thank you so much to everyone that has contributed so far! I just know Pat is going to be so emotional seeing how many people care with the amount of love, generosity, and well wishes he has received.
A quick update on his status:
We visited him in the hospital yesterday and got to spend some quality time with him. He talked about the events of that night in detail and could remember everything that occurred. He received stitches for the gash on the back of his head which he didn't find too pleasant. He is going under for two surgeries today that will take place simultaneously. Originally we thought he only needed surgery on his wrist, but they later found fractures on his kneecap and on the head of his tibia that require some fixing. We're hoping for a successful procedure and that he will be allowed to go home later this week!
As a final note, the care that he has received at St Josephs (Main) has been exceptional. He was raving on and on about how great the staff have been to him. As many of you know, Pat has dedicated his life to being a nurse and helping others any way he can. He is used to being on the other side of the bed, providing care and trying to lift a patients spirits, not the one being tended to. I just happened to stumble across this video of him from 2018 and wanted to share it with you all. Hearing him talk about his career, his love of helping others, and of course talking about music (Lol) is incredibly fitting. This is who Pat is through and through. And I am so happy we are all able to pay it forward to him in his time of need.

Thank you again to all of you and your generosity. We are about halfway to our end goal to help support him during his recovery, so please continue sharing and spreading the word.

As some of you know, our drummer (Pat), was the victim of a hit and run accident on Friday, February 20th. He went across the street to get a drink and snack from the gas station 30 minutes before our show was supposed to start, and on the walk back over he was struck and left alone in the road. He was aware enough to crawl out of the road and into the venue's parking lot and able to yell for help. Pat suffered multiple injuries and was taken straight to the emergency room at St. Josephs Hospital where he is continuing to receive care. The accident resulted in a large gash on the back of his head and a broken wrist that requires surgery.
Needless to say, we are all very shaken up but so thankful he is okay and that this is the worst of the damage. He is in good spirits but will be out of commission for awhile. Not just from the band but also from work while he heals. We are creating this GoFundMe in hopes of lessening his financial burden during this difficult time. Any bit helps to cover home bills, food to meal prep for him, attorney fees and immediate hospital care while all of this gets sorted through insurance and the ongoing police investigation.
Thank you to everyone that has shown so much support and understanding. Pat is one of the sweetest goofballs you will ever meet and is like family to us. We can't wait to see him get back in action once he's able and will keep everyone updated on his progress. If you do not have the means to donate, please share to help spread the word.
