Quick little update on this card game. Tester kits were sent out this week so more folks could try it. Feels good to get some more eyes on the game and confirm there's something cool going on here. Thanks to everyone who is helping out! Still not sure if it'll go anywhere, but I'm determined to have a final game by the end of the year. 🐮🃏
UPDATE: 2 Large Comfort Colors tees left. Mugs are gone!
DM with t-shirt size for instructions. Throwing in a ton of stickers with each order. If you buy both I'll cut you a deal.
I've been working on a game and one of my favorite things I've made! I thought maybe telling the world would force me to finish it. I'll share more updates and maybe ask for testers soon. Hold me accountable, internet!
Some hot takes from my talk last week at KU:
1: As soon as you get into your car, your phone should be bricked. No more distractions at red lights.
2: Hospitals shouldn't cost anyone anything. But how do we pay for it?
3: Anyone who's ever invested in crypto! If you have enough money for imaginary currency, you have enough money to help foot the bill.
4: Canes is just fine. Without the sauce it's mid.
5: Once you hit 65, you shouldn't be allowed online anymore. You've seen enough. (This is how we solve Facebook BTW.)
6: The beach is overrated.
7: The mountains are underrated.
8: There's no such thing as bad design.
Tonight is our final KU Design Professional Lecture of the semester. Be sure to catch “No Such Thing as Bad Design: a Lecture on Embracing Failure” by @arcd_ku ’s own Titus Smith.

It's only November, but I'm getting a head start on the yearly reflection. A banner year for The Hideout. January will be the five year anniversary of this experiment. Thanks to everyone who's encouraged me, read the journal, paid me, asked for something weird, messaged me, liked a post, or waved at me from a distance. Between teaching and running a super small business, my professional life is an absolute dream. ❤️ Titus
