All of the crew at The Hex Project would like to extend a massive thank you and congratulations to all those who helped to organise The Forbidden Garden Party 2023, as well as each and every person who attended. All we can say is… what a loving, welcoming and wholesome atmosphere! The music was great, the crowd was perfect, the weather was stunning. In short, we had a wonderful time at the manor with you all, and we hope that you enjoyed all of the sound systems and staging that we created for you this year. Attack of the mono stack!....... So this weekend we took part in RC1's Bristol soundcheck. Unusually for us, we ran in mono. Its fair to say that this setup moves a serious amount of air! Despite the awkward acoustics of the archway venue the system was singing and we received a lot of very positive feedback from all of the sound nerds in attendance. The other systems @sanktumsoundsystem and @billet_audio both sounded great and put on a good show, and my oh my that little active @rc1.sound.system setup was putting out some noise!!! Huge thank you goes out to Jon RC1 for putting on this event each month. It's a wonderful concept for an event, a brilliant platform for lesser known crews, and it's lovely to see sound systems coming together in a friendly and non competitive way. ♥️ ♥️

What an absolutely wild start to 2023 this was!! A private NYE event which we helped to produce with the scale and ambition of a small festival. 3 stages, live bands, an amazing selection of talented DJs, banging free food and drink, all in an idyllic setting and with the loveliest bunch of people. We couldn't have hoped for a better party although what a shame it was to break this all down after one night. Massive love and respect to everyone who helped make it happen along with those who attended and made it such a memorable night 🥰😎All sound and light lovingly created by The Hex Project.
The Hex Project will be back at The Forbidden Garden Party again this year to provide hybrid Element 5 and Danley Sound Labs systems across multiple arenas of the festival. More information to come soon.

Tall boi setup…. Element 5 rb218s running in a cardioid configuration, plus Danley Sh46. On the other side of the stage we ran another rb218 playing solely kick frequencies for the perception of balance, as well as another sh46 stacked on scaffold tower. This setup helped us to provide even and consistent sub bass coverage across the woodland, with plenty of mid/high dispersion to soak the whole amphitheatre-style arena with gorgeous wobbly air.
