Weeks posts
There’s something that happens when you step away from your day-to-day and into a room of people who understand the depth of what you’re building. Last Monday, we welcomed 35 designers to kick off Haven 2026... our 12th retreat (still surreal to say!). Over those four days, it wasn’t just the conversations or the ideas shared, it was the openness, honesty, and the way walls came down for something more transformative to take place. The most meaningful growth rarely comes from education alone, it comes from being in a space where you can see differently, think more expansively, and feel what’s possible in a new way. This is just a glimpse of the week—we’ll be sharing more of the magic in the days and weeks ahead. If you’ve been craving something deeper in how you grow your business, this is it. Join the early access list on our profile for first dibs on 2027 retreat details!

The magic of the Haven Workshop is hard to put into words, but it’s felt deeply. Coming off our 11th retreat last week, we’re still riding the high of hosting 34 incredibly ambitious designers, gathering for al fresco meals, forging new friendships, and leaning into the kind of real, raw conversations that linger long after the table’s been cleared. It’s not lost on us what a privilege it is to create this space. If this kind of experience has been calling to you, we’ll be back in Sonoma at @macarthurplace next spring, May 4–7, 2026. Save the date and stay tuned for more details. We’d love to welcome you into the rhythm of something rooted and real. 🎥: @hugo.landa.garcia Cover Photo: @jessicaburke Interior Design Workshop, Business Retreat, Design Conference, Interior Design Strategy, Interior Design Community

There’s something quite magical about the first evening of Haven. The warmth is undeniable, from the easy flow of conversation to the candles burning long past sunset as strangers quickly become friends. This year, we gathered for our welcome dinner alongside our partner, @armadilloandco , in a space layered with natural texture, earthy tones, and thoughtful details that reflected the grounding beauty their brand is so known for. From our richly layered tablescapes to their handcrafted rugs throughout the space, every element invited guests to slow down, settle in, and connect. One of the things we value most at Haven is creating experiences that feel deeply considered, not only in what’s taught throughout the week, but in how people feel while they’re here. The atmosphere matters, but most of all, the people around the table matter. So grateful to Armadillo for helping us welcome this incredible group in a truly unforgettable way. A shared history playing volleyball for Team USA made this renovation especially meaningful for designer Kristin Hildebrand of @kh.interiors and her client. This Lake Oswego home was reimagined through a thoughtful whole-home renovation that balances traditional architectural language with a lighter, more refined touch. Photographed by @sarahbuttonphoto , this abode reflects both the lakeside setting and the enduring friendship behind its design. Styling: @studiolaurenolivia

This storied Bahamian residence takes on new life through a thoughtful balance of heritage and ease. @lauren_nelson_design approached the home as a dialogue between traditional colonial character and a relaxed California sensibility, preserving its architectural integrity while layering in tailored millwork, contemporary furnishings, and rich, textured finishes. Photographer @katesjordan captured the warmth, collectedness, and deep connection to the island that make this home uniquely inviting. Take the tour on Haven. Designed by @kmitchelldesignco and captured through the lens of @lomillerphoto , this Ontario residence explores the power of restraint. Kaitlynn’s design sits confidently between classic and modern without fully leaning into either, reflecting a refined transitional style shaped by contemporary discipline. What emerges is a quietly confident retreat that values craftsmanship over statement and longevity over trend. Head to Haven for the full story. Marie Cloud of @indigopruitt approaches pattern the way she approaches interiors, as a language of structure, rhythm, and story. For her @spoonflower collection, each design explores the idea that pattern can do more than decorate a surface. Created with the same intentional balance she brings to her interiors, the collection reflects a perspective shaped by thoughtful layering, tonal restraint, and a belief that textiles can shape the emotional experience of a home. Designed by @ursinointeriors and photographed by @nicole_franzen , this suburban home just outside Manhattan embraces Scandinavian minimalism through a high-contrast, contemporary lens. Light, natural materials like white oak and stone are paired with deeper tones and graphic moments to create visual tension and balance. Together, these elements create a fresh, livable take on contemporary family living. Take a closer look on Haven. Styling: @britt_albert

Some moments are hard to put into words. A table set at golden hour. Conversations that unfold slowly. Ideas that stay with you long after you’ve gone home and shape how you move forward in your business. There’s a certain rhythm to Haven—mornings that bring clarity, afternoons that shift perspective, and evenings that linger a little longer than expected. This May 4–7, we gather again in Sonoma for Haven 2026. Four days to zoom out, reset, and return with clearer direction, refined processes, and renewed momentum in your business. As of today, just two spots remain. We’d love to have you with us.
