April what a month🖤
I’ve been so bad with content this month but real life definitely hasn’t stopped.
So what’s been going on?
Curly cuts obviously but I’ve honestly just been enjoying chatting to clients instead of constantly recording everything.
Lots and lots of new products, with more on the way🙃
Blaming @bravecurls for that one😂
And in case you missed it… I got a puppy🐶

My first time judging the live regional finals and WOW what an experience. A true honour to be asked to do so but more so to be apart of your journeys.
The talent was insane and truly inspiring. Watching you all pour your heart and soul into your models and presentations reminded me of how important these competitions are and for the people who didn’t make it. DO IT AGAIN!!! Don’t let one experience hold you back. Learn, grow and come back stronger.
To the finalists congratulations, truly deserved and bring your a game in July. Excited to see you all stomp down the runway again at the LONDON O2 ARENAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I’ve been thinking about this one since…
When Erin entered the competition, she shared a bit about what she’s been through endometriosis, chemical menopause, years of dealing with the medical side of things.
She’d made the decision to start embracing her natural curls, but hadn’t been into a salon in a while that fear of going somewhere and having it straightened to be cut is very real.
But honestly, sitting chatting to her you wouldn’t think it with how positive she is about everything. Still working, still doing the things she enjoys (including pole which I loved hearing about).
We ended up chatting about everything women’s health, being neurospicy, life in general one of those appointments where the conversation just flows.
She knew she wanted her fringe back in, her signature shaved side, lots of layers and some of the length off.
I got a message from her after saying
“I’m so so so so so happy with my hair… I left feeling beautiful again” 🥺
I’m so glad I decided to do the competition this way this time, to actually make a difference to someone🖤

Because the shape has so much structure it’s a lot less versatile which means they can only really wear it one way.
So if the haircut isn’t good…… it’s very easily seen and a big blowout won’t hide it 🤣

These are so helpful in creating the perfect set for you as sometimes describing just isn’t enough, usually you have a vision in your head of what you’re expecting. You might ask me for lashes that “aren’t too long” but my version and your version of long might be two different things. This is why inspo pics are recommended!

This was Sarah’s 2nd appointment with me last time we kept it a bit safer, nothing too drastic.
But this time she was ready for a change. Coming into the warmer months she wanted something shorter, lighter, just easier to manage.

Curly specialists how are your knees?💀
The cutting stools just don’t go low enough, so I end up on the floor quite a lot not ideal for the knees😂
I did have one of those gardening kneeling cushions at one point and just never replaced it, so here we are😅
