I rarely like to post the same day as big life events because I like to stay present and have a few days to process… where do I begin?
I want to thank everyone who came to the premiere Sunday (what a magical day!) and anyone who has been supportive through this entire process; you are the real ones.
This experience has been a dream that I am eternally grateful for. I’ll never forget how it felt that moment @julieohora called; You can never replicate the feeling of getting the call that you booked your first SAG speaking role. Playing a villain/femme fatale character was new to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I feel the storyline of Justice and good prevailing in a system where corruption is so prevalent is such an important one, especially in current times.
Grateful for all cast and crew; y’all were cream of the crop to work with! Special shout out to Jacob for being the most amazing scene partner a girl could ask for; @kimbot.pdf for being boss b at wardrobe and making me feel so comfortable. And how cool was it to work with Max B who line produced El Camino from one my favorite series Breaking Bad (ever heard of it?)
I’m truly so incredibly proud of what this group of talented people have created. Special thanks again from the bottom of my heart to Julie and @tompaolino for this special opportunity. This entire process been one of the greatest experiences of my career to date, and I’m excited to see where the next step of this journey leads ✨

Thank you to those who have sent me congratulatory messages and comments of support over these last several days! It’s so appreciated😭🙏✨ I’m still trying to process everything… From this only being a dream to becoming reality has been quite the whirlwind. All I can say is that all of the sweat, tears, hard work were worth it.
Maybe one day I’ll tell the story about traveling the west coast by myself with 2 giant suitcases, terrified but determined. Hitting 6 cities/towns in 10 days, random weird bus stops in San Diego😅…. I truly believe you can make anything happen with hard work and an unrelenting dream.

I’m truly honored to have been part of the Viddy Award-winning project “Can You Hear Me? Improving Outcomes Between Professionals and Patients During Pregnancy and Birth” a project focused on bringing greater awareness to implicit bias and the persistent racial disparities in maternal healthcare.
This message hit home for me because someone very close to me faced racial bias during postpartum care in the 90s, which unfortunately continues to be an ongoing challenge in our system today.
As a Nurse Practitioner and Filipina, I will always be committed to using my voice to highlight where our healthcare can be improved and advocate for more equitable care, and lasting change in the healthcare system.
