We have decided to stop organizing The Great Yonder. The main reason is that it has simply become too much work to attract enough participants to make the event sustainable—especially now that we are fully focused on renovating and expanding the accommodations and facilities in Bedepuszta, while also handling a growing number of requests for conferences, festival weddings, and private retreats.
Meanwhile, we look back at 5 editions of The Great Yonder with great pleasure and fond memories. In particular at the many returning guests, who have become part of the village family.

Nieuws! Komend jaar organiseren we opnieuw The Great Yonder, maar er staan enkele veranderingen op het programma. Vanaf nu wordt het evenement eens in de twee jaar gehouden en zal het in juli plaatsvinden in plaats van augustus. Daarnaast voegen we meer activiteiten toe aan het programma, de focus ligt daarmee iets minder op muziek. We hebben het afgelopen jaar niet stilgezeten; de faciliteiten zijn aanzienlijk uitgebreid en we hebben uitgebreide renovaties doorgevoerd. The Great Yonder wordt daarmee een vijfdaagse vakantie, met de mogelijkheid voor een tweedaags bezoek als onderdeel van een roadtrip door Centraal Europa. We gaan uitgebreider in op bovengenoemde veranderingen in de komende posts!
The Great Yonder pas weer in 2026
Een paar weken geleden hebben we een post geplaatst met de aankondiging voor The Great Yonder 2025. Maar helaas.. door omstandigheden gaan we de 6e editie van het festival een jaartje uitstellen. Zet hem alvast in de agenda: 4-9 augustus 2026.
Aangezien er dit jaar een aantal grote externe evenementen in Bedepuszta plaats gaan vinden en er tot noch toe geen tickets voor The Great Yonder 2025 zijn verkocht, hebben we besloten om de webshop te sluiten en het festival een jaartje over te slaan.
We hopen volgend jaar weer veel bekende en nieuwe gezichten te ontvangen. Na de zomer komen we met nieuws over The Great Yonder 2026!
The Great Yonder, last year, one day after the festival. Not one piece of litter, not even at the camping. We should have won a price for festival with the best audience!
Good news! In 2025 we will organize the 6th edition of The Great Yonder in Bedepuszta. The festival will take place from 5-10 August 2025.
A few things will change:
1. Tickets will be much cheaper. A ticket for 4 days program and 5 nights camping will be 198 euro instead of 298 euro.
2. We will have a Breakfast Bar where you can buy fresh rolls, fruit, yoghurt and ready made sandwiches. Breakfast will not be included in the price.
3. We will have one music program less in the evening and more activities in daytime.

Ticket sales will start in January. There will be a max of 180 tickets available.
