Dubbed as the most unexpected collab from us, because I personally didn’t expect this as well. The keyboard is called “Air Type 1”, taking reference from the iconic Nike Air Force 1, a design that’s always stood for simplicity, timelessness, and versatility. It started as a random idea, a “what if” moment between two very different worlds, sneakers and keyboards. But that’s the thing I love most about this journey. You never really know where passion takes you, or who you’ll meet that helps turn a wild idea into something real. Working with @thegreatrectangle and @maamaadei_ reminded me that creativity doesn’t have borders. Whether it’s leather or aluminum, soles or switches, it’s all the same pursuit of detail and design. The Duck Unicorn shares the same top design as the Orion, but it was milled out of polycarbonate. Unlike the Orion's bottom, its lower part is made from acrylic sheet and angled with cone feet. Partly inspired by this, and partly driven by my boredom with aluminum boards, I recreated the 910 in PC back in 2017. I believe it was the first proper fully PC board, that has an angled bottom and weight. Fast forward to 2023, the polycarbonate GAF 910 raffle is happening today!
