Instagram has officially reduced the number of hashtags you can use on a post from 30 to just 5 per post. Pretty big news!
This change forces a shift away from spray-and-pray hashtags and toward search-driven, intent-based discovery. The way people actually use Instagram today. This does not mean hashtags are dead! It means they actually carry more weight (if done right).
